#5: Prachi Thadhani, Business Head of Hungry Wolves Ent.

Introducing Prachi Thadhani, Creative Producer and Business Head of Hungry Wolves Entertainment.

Making waves and new business does not always require starting from scratch. Today we're featuring a trailblazer within a company. Prachi Thadhani is leading new directions for Hungry Wolves Entertainment through creating content across a variety of formats and platforms. After committing 9 years in the movie industry, Prachi transitioned into the events industry, launching her own company and working with several high end brands for 4 years. After running her own business she returned to the entertainment & film world with Hungry Wolves Ent.

What do you consider your top 3 core values and how do they affect how you lead your business?

1 ). Time : Being in the business of entertainment, time management is on the top of my list. At its the core, the entertainment business is all about being prepared, as I’m sure is the same in other industries. When it’s show-time, everything should pretty much already be all set. While sometimes there are glitches, if you have used your time wisely and have prepped well, you can avoid the possibilities of not delivering .

2). Human Relationships : Since the entertainment business is heavily invested in people, maintaining good relationships & having good human resource management skills is paramount. Throughout my years of working in Bollywood, I’ve learned that if I had to bet on anything it would be maintaining a good rapport with not only my peers, but also artists & technicians alike. This constantly changing algorithm is crucial to success & I do believe in the old adage “what goes around comes around.”

3). Decision Making: This by far is the hardest challenge working in the entertainment business. Most of the time, we have to choose between the lesser of two evils. But my experience has led me to believe making those decisions is respected & valued.

Can you share a time you either thought you failed, or actually did fail? How did you react and move past it, and what impact did it have on business decisions?

When you climb the ladder and gain experience at the same time, taking educated risks is part of the business. After investing 9 years in the movie business, unfortunately things did not pan out the way I had thought it would. So I decided to move on and use the skills that I inherited through the movie business but on another platform. I decided to move into the events industry where I harnessed my skills to be a successful entrepreneur. I spent 4 years in that industry working with various top notch brands nationally & internationally. However, the allure of movie making and the creativity beyond a singular event or a singular day was still there. So I decided to give it another shot. The integrity with which I conducted myself & my reputation provided me inroads into the movie business all over again. I am currently the Business Head of Hungry Wolves Entertainment, a company launched by Bollywood Actor & Producer, Zayed Khan. We are deeply invested in providing content for Cinema & Digital Platforms alike. My journey has begun again & I am sure there will be ebbs & flows in this one too. Having said that I try not to make the same mistakes, because I know that my calling is in this world. I am happy to weather the storm. “IT AINT HOW HARD YOU HIT, ITS ABOUT HOW HARD YOU CAN GET HIT AND KEEP MOVING FORWARD. THAT'S HOW WINNING IS DONE!“ - ROCKY BALBOA.

What types of projects do you have coming up that we can look forward to seeing in the future?

We are currently working on providing content for multiple digital platforms, including web series, films, & non fictional reality shows. While I am not at liberty to mention the titles of the projects that I am currently involved in, I would like to sign off by saying “curiosity kills the cat 😉“.
